FGS Services Offices in Little Germany Bradford

What FGS would have looked like in 1832

Martin Fillingham

Our FGS offices in Little Germany have been transformed into the set of the latest film Gentleman Jack, a Lookout Point production for the BBC, co-produced with HBO which is set in back 1830’s.

More information about Gentleman Jack starting Suranne Jones (Doctor Foster) can be found by clicking here.

This isn’t what I expected in my first week at FGS! It’s been a bit surreal working at a computer tech company and looking out of the windows and seeing this…

Gentleman Jack film set at FGS Services Offices in Little Germany Bradford

For those of you that don’t know me, my name is Martin Fillingham and I have recently started at FGS as Service Delivery Manager working alongside Fred and the team.

I’ve spent most of my life working at Pace Micro in Saltaire from the early 90’s to mid 2013 (Pace was a British company who developed set-top boxes, advanced residential gateways, software and services for the pay-tv and broadband services industry) to then working at HC Slingsby PLC as IT Infrastructure Manager.

Over the next few months I hope to talk you all and get to know you all better.

In the meantime, if there’s anything we can help you with don’t hesitate to call me or Fred on the usual number 01274 973600.

Filmed in Bradford

Whilst I’ve been settling in lots of people have asked me “why film in Bradford?

Well actually Bradford has a long history of films that have be filmed in the area. From the Bronte’s – To Walk Invisible, in 2016 to Monty Python’s The meaning of life, in 1983 Click on this link here to see what other films you recognise that have been film in this area.

Let me know which film was your favourite!
